Growth-Link believes that the growth of individuals as credible leaders enables teams, organisations, and communities to grow. Not only does this include the inside-out approach, but also the concept of systems science that highlights the interrelatedness of the individual, stakeholders, and transactional matters in an ever-changing, increasingly complex business context.

This belief is included in our well-researched competency framework that forms the cornerstone of our offering. Our competency framework consists of three clusters namely Leading self, Leading others and Leading business.

Supervisory, managerial &
leadership training

Growth-Link offers flexibility by allowing clients to select specific skills to be developed as stand-alone workshops – as many as required. Most of these workshops are unit standard-aligned, allowing learners to qualify for credits on successful completion and competence declaration.

Our workshop/ module topics predominantly address one of the categories of Leading self, Leading others or Leading business, although each of the elements are positioned in every workshop/module. This is also reflected in the classroom- and assessment activities where learners are guided into reflecting on how every aspect first impact on them personally, on their team members and then the business (often also stakeholders outside the business, i.e., loved ones, friends, communities, suppliers).

Our experience has helped us to combine specific topics in READY-TO-TRAIN programmes to address pertinent challenges per organisational level. To affect real behavioural change, multiple layers need to be developed through initiatives that support the same end-results and embed the same fundamental principles.

We therefore support the implementation of a learning staircase that recommends training modules on all levels of the organisation. An example of our own generic development staircase is illustrated below. Additional modules can be viewed in the workshop section to add or replace modules listed.
